I’ve been using this Chess app for about three or four years. It has a lot of additional features like tactics puzzles, videos, and preset predicaments to challenge you and help you set up future moves to create the best situation for your pieces. There is also a play-by-play review of your games which critiques your moves and tells you what you could’ve done better. A couple things that need improvement though. Often the app will fail to notify me when it’s my turn after my opponent has moved, requiring me to open the app and navigate to my active games to manually check if it is my turn. The other issue is that sometimes I will try to start a new game with a friend with the “Play A Friend” option and the app opens the “active connection countdown” when I’m not trying to play a live game. I’m sure there is a way to create a new game with a friend without creating an active challenge, but I am not sure how. If this feature exists, it just needs to be integrated in an easy to find menu. (This review is based on my use from a Samsung Galaxy S5).EDIT: I have an iPhone X now and I am able to successfully use the “Play A Friend” option to create a daily game without the app opening the “Active Connection Countdown” so the issue I stated previously may already be resolved.

Hi there, been playing on the app for about a month and started to really like it so looked at the memberships and there’s 3 levels ... $30, $50, and $80 (I believe) for a year, provided you pay upfront and not month by month. I was like ok I get it... there’s lots of features so you have to pay for more of them. Well that’s all good, I get that. My main issue is with the puzzles that sometimes the “opponent” player doesn’t make the best move so you can’t actually solve the puzzle correctly unless you guess they will do the wrong thing. Solved a puzzle today and I would’ve gotten it right however the opponent made the worse move of their two moves and thereby I made the wrong move because I predicted the opponent would obviously make the best move. Please creators/admins fix this issue. It’s really not the way the puzzles should function. If you fix this I will gladly change my rating to 5 stars since that’s my main issues. Also I couldn’t find anywhere in the app to report this. But secondly to advertise their “videos” to watch to learn and improve in a notification or have it ever present on the main menu is really annoying when you can’t even watch the whole video because you don’t have the most expensive membership. I don’t like that. Just an annoying paywall situation where I already paid for the app.

I had started playing chess around three years ago, but stopped playing after a while because me sister wouldn’t have time for it anymore. I also didn’t know all the weird stuff or the stuff that is secluded, like castling, stalemate and the difference between check and checkmate. And so I gave up on chess. But three years later, in 7th grade we had a chess tournament in our contest math class. I was very unpleased and upset to have found out that I lost in the second round! I watched the finals match, and watched one of my good friends get bashed and checkmated in around five to six maybe seven minutes. At that moment, I wanted to be like that guy who defeated my friend so badly. So I started forcing my sister to play chess with me. But however at one point she got tired of it. So then I had to find a good chess app or website to play on. After lots of asking people what the best chess apps are, I finally got this one!!! And I must say I love it! There is however, a minor issue. I found out there is now multiplayer! The other player must have an account and you have to invite them. Anyway, other than that, it’s all cool!!!

The goal of Backgammon is to move all of your checker pieces off the board and into one of the boxes on the right side. In order to do that, you’ll need to move all your pieces into your home board first. The color you chose at the start of the game will determine which way you move each turn. Red pieces move clockwise to get to their home board on the upper right hand corner. White pieces move counterclockwise with their goal at the bottom right. 

Tap on the dice to roll. If the left die shows a higher number when playing against the computer, you get to move first. When playing with a friend, the left die is for player 1 and the right die is for player 2. The player who moves first must move the amount of spaces shown on the dice. You can move your pieces according to the number shown each individual die or add up the sum of the dice and move forward that amount. If both dice show the same number, then you get an extra two moves.

You can move your checkers onto any point with one or fewer enemy pieces. If you move to a point with an enemy piece, it will be removed from the board and your opponent will have to use a roll to put it back on the board. Once you get all of your checkers to the correct corner, you can continue to roll to remove pieces off the board. Remove all of your pieces from the board before your opponent in order to win!

Homeward bound. Keep your sights set on that home corner. You can’t remove your checkers from the board until you get all of them on the home points. If you find that luck is on your side and you keep getting high-numbered rolls, you can use the “Running Game” strategy and race all your pieces home as fast as you can before your opponent does.

Knock ‘em out. Another good offensive strategy is to attack your opponent’s single pieces as much as you can. Sending your opponent’s pieces to the middle bar means they’ll have to use their next roll to bring it back in the game. If they can’t move the barred checker the amount shown on the dice, then they forfeit the turn. The more turns they use to revive benched pieces, the more opportunities you get to rush your pieces back home.

War Chess is a modern retake on the classic game of chess, which is one of the most popular board games in the world. Use your finger to select a piece from your deck and place it on the board. You can only play dominoes with sides that match the number on an open end. The player who has the double six tile starts off each round. If no one has the double six, then it moves to the next highest number tile. Be the first to play all of your dominoes on the board in order to win each round. The first player to reach 100 total points wins the game. 

Play high number tiles early. Every round, the winning player will get points based on the sum of the remaining dominoes in the losing player(s) hand. It’s best to let go of tiles with high numbers early on in a round in order to limit the amount of points your opponent(s) will get if they win. 

Read the room. Pay close attention to your opponent(s) moves throughout the game. When they draw from the pile, take note of which numbers are playable. Chances are, they are lacking those tiles in their hand and you can easily trap them by playing that number later in the round. 

Defensive dominoes. As you catch on to your opponent’s moves, look for ways you can block the board. For example, if one end of the board has a 2 and the other a 4, you can play a 4-2 tile to make both open sides show 2. Your opponent will be blocked out of the move or will have to draw from the pile if they’re lacking that number.

Playing any of the three dominoes games can help improve basic math, critical thinking and strategy planning skills. When playing All-Fives mode, players will need to think ahead in order to make the end tiles add up to a multiple of 5. I agree with the AI who is (maybe not) cheating. Spent time in compare and AI is wining over 80% of the time while the player losing over 60% of the time. This make the game uninteresting. That's sad because it could be very nice. - Correct this (big) problem. - Put more fight options like artillery or soldiers, like higher position gives more attack points, like army who settle-block-bunker (cost one turn) get defense points. Very good project and its great that its still supported by yura. But it needs more support and a lot of work and stuff to fix. Important informations are missing, bugs and an outdated basic make it hard to create maps for this.
