She's really leaning into the Meg Ryan vibes of the season.
Jennifer Lopez’s Fall Wardrobe Is a Rom-Com Character’s Dream
Fall fashion is here, and that means gorgeous coats, boots, and pumpkin-spice-colored everything. And Jennifer Lopez is 100% here for it all.
The actor-singer-icon has been leaning into fall fashion. In fact, I’d argue no one has epitomized fall style this accurately since Meg Ryan in…well, every Meg Ryan rom-com. Lopez is certainly taking cues from that aesthetic, wrapping herself up in the chicest, coziest jackets, sweaters, and boots ideal for a Central Park meet-cute.
Take one look at Jennifer Lopez’s Instagram, and you’ll catch these vibes. In the video, below, the “On the Floor” singer is rocking a matching jacket-skirt combo with a black turtleneck and knee-high boots. If November were an outfit, it would be this.
And if you’re looking to replicate it, Zara and Revolve have some great options.

The J.Lo fall style moments only get better. Take this shimmery brown crop-top and skirt combo she wore in New York City on October 9.
Yes, if weather permits (and you’re down to try), fall fashion can include a little skin baring. It just comes down to your color and fabric choices.

But the pinnacle of Jennifer Lopez’s fall fashion (so far) has been, without a doubt, this plaid teal wool coat paired with an almost-matching plaid maxi wrap dress and aviators. Photos of her in the outfit truly look like scenes from When Harry Met Sally—which is fitting, because Lopez was snapped with boyfriend Ben Affleck.
Who knows? Maybe throwing on a little plaid this year will turn your life into a rom-com too. I’ll be stocking up on some flannel to manifest this for myself.

We still have a few more weeks left of true autumn, and I have a feeling Lopez will keep delivering the A+ seasonal style. Of course, this post will be updated with more looks as they come in.
