I'm digging it.
Nicole Kidman is currently filming her Apple TV+ series Roar, and for the role she has a new look: a strawberry blonde pixie.
Granted, this is most likely a wig, but still: Kidman looks so different! I'm digging the look, though. Check it out for yourself, below.

In her real life, Nicole Kidman doesn't change her hair much; for the most part, she sticks to long and blonde. But for roles, she's all over the place. Remember in Big Little Lies, when she had red hair with dramatic bangs? Or in Boy Erased, when she wore a short blonde wig (which, honestly, I'm gonna say it, was serving Karen). This new pixie for Roar joins a fleet of iconic movie and TV hairstyles. Welcome to the gang!
Nicole Kidman hash-tagged "Female Filmmakers" in her post; Roar was created by Glow showrunners Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. In her Glamour Woman of the Year interview four years ago, Kidman vowed to work with a female director every 18 months.
“As an actor you’re only as good as the things you’re offered,” she said. “And there just weren’t any women offering me things. So when you dissect that, you realize there aren’t women offering you things because they don’t have the opportunities. I work to raise money for women’s cancers; I use my voice for violence against women. And so I was like, ‘I need to be part of the movement that will, hopefully, change the statistics in my field.’”
She continued, “I also can’t be talking about it and not doing it. Because, to be an advocate, you have to actually put things into action. It’s like, ‘OK, Rebecca. You’re making a movie? Let’s go.’ ‘OK, Karyn Kusama—I’m working with her next—we may not have an enormous budget, but let’s go do it. I’ll get down in the trenches with you.'"
